Masterflex® Peristaltic Pump Advantages
The Masterflex® P/S®, I/P®. B/T® and Ponndorf® Peristaltic Pumps have the following
features:
The Masterflex® P/S®, I/P®. B/T® and Ponndorf® Peristaltic Pumps have the following
features:
- Can be run dry and are capable of pumping mixed (liquid/vapor) flow.
- Suction lifts up to 28 ft.
- Has no check valves to foul and the only wetted parts are the hose and
connection nozzles. - Maintenance is done in place and takes anywhere between 10 and 40 minutes
to complete a typical rebuild. This will depend upon the pump model and the
experience level of the technician. - Are reversible to flow in either direction.
- Extremely low shear pumping.
- Can handle a wide range of viscosities (up to 35,000 cps).
- Can safely generate discharge pressures of 30 to 220 psi depending upon
model and hose/tube material. - Offered in a broad spectrum of materials. The wetted portion of the pump can be
changed easily and inexpensively in response to new pumping conditons without

variable speed drives, leak detectors, no flow detectors, Washdown Duty, X-
Proof Rated, Air Driven, Single and 3-Phase Power, UL, cUL & CE ratings just to
name a few. - Includes a wide variety of hose/tubing formulations. With elastomers for industrial
services, food grades, and pharmaceutical grades.
